The parks around us

The nature of the Marche accompanies us to visit suggestive and natural parks

Starting from our farmhouse with swimming pool in Montecarotto, in the Marche you can visit:

The Regional Natural Park of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi
The park covers an area of 10,000 hectares, it is an oasis of nature that offers the possibility of hiking in its many paths, admiring the flora and fauna riches typical of the pre-Apennine environment. The natural phenomena involving this area are interesting: karst and the presence of sulphurous springs. A splendid karst example is the suggestive Gola di Frasassi, carved by the waters of the Sentino river, which for thousands of years has shaped these places, creating rocky cliffs and giving rise to an underground kingdom of unparalleled splendor: the Frasassi Caves.

The Ripa Bianca Regional Nature Reserve
"... and guys, remember no film, no photography, however beautiful they will allow you to love the richness, the colors, the hidden life of river nature. Without a doubt, any documentary has a very modest value compared to the direct experience of a humble and curious life of the river ... " The Regional Reserve managed by WWF Italia protects the biodiversity present in one of the few wetlands of the Marche Region, it is among the most important sites for the presence of birds related to humid environments (ardeidae, limicolous, anatidae)

The Gola del Furlo State Natural Reserve
3600 hectares of woods, pastures and pristine peaks, an authentic paradise where the suggestion of the landscape is combined with a prodigious naturalistic wealth that boasts truly unique specimens of flora and fauna: the golden eagle, the peregrine falcon, the eagle owl, the woodpecker waller, the mountain swallow, the greater swift, the coral chough. And then at Furlo live wolves, roe deer, fallow deer and wild boars.

The Conero Natural Regional Park
The park is a stage of rare beauty that includes a stretch of high coast, as well as a wide internal hilly area, characterized by panoramic views and a lot of history, an area of 6011 hectares in the territories of Ancona, Camerano, Numana and Sirolo. The protected area is inhabited by numerous species of animals: over 200 species have been registered in the last decade. It is possible to visit the park on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike with a network of 18 paths present within the area.
